Hello Stampin' Friends!
I confess that I am not a big card maker when it comes to Halloween. I am more of a, "let's package up some treats," person when it comes to Halloween. I like decorating little packages of treats for my friends at this time of year. So, this year, I passed on the Halloween sets even though I love the Halloween Scenes Edgelit Dies. I adore that fence! But, like everyone else, I have a budget to stick to and Christmas is, and always has been, my favorite holiday, so I spent the bulk of my budget on Christmas!
However, the little bit I bought for Fall and Halloween will go a long ways, and I will probably have some things leftover. I always do! This year I purchased the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper. I really like that there are several sheets in the package that can be used long after Fall is over. Maybe I will get more of the paper used up this time! I also sprung for the Halloween Night Enamel Dots and Bakers Twine; both items are not truly specific to Halloween so I can use them anytime. That was it. My big splurge! Since most of my friends live so far away from me now...I may have to send them a card instead of giving them treats!
I love that this paper had some imagery and scenes in it. It made it easy to create a "stamp free" card! My sentiment is from the Seasonal Frame Dies, which is on the clearance rack. I consider it a steal. I use this die set frequently. I love the rectangle - it makes a perfect cut out for layering. The sentiments are fun and cover several seasons (thus it is perfectly named, Seasonal Frames!)
I have a Facebook Live video (well, two, actually - a silent version and one with sound) that shows you how easy this stamp free card is to put together. You can check it out here:
For your convenience, I have provided images of most of the products that I used below and clicking on them will take you directly to my 24/7 online store where you can browse and shop to your hearts content!
