Autumn Days

This card was birthed from one of my Chat & Challenge sketches (I host a Chat & Challenge for a demo group that I belong to). While I really liked how it turned out...it did evolve a little differently when I had more time to play and was getting prepared for my 2nd card making class in October. I haven't yet had a chance to take a photo of the "evolved" version, but that is at the top of my list so you can see the changes that I made to it for the final version that we made in class! Hopefully, I will get that posted for you yet this week. I created this card with the Autumn Days Stamp Set. I used the Autumn Meadows Designer Series Paper that is in the Holiday Mini - I was drawn to the colors and the beautiful leaves in the paper! I used a 3x3 square...so that gets me 12 cards out of one sheet! My color combo is Close to Cocoa and Dusty Durango with Very Vanilla. I didn't have a Dusty Durango Corduroy Button because we don't carry them - but not being easily deterred...I used a sponge dauber and rubbed some Dusty Durango ink on my Pumpkin Pie Corduroy Button; it worked perfectly! I used the air gun to spatter some Dusty Durango ink on the background with my wheat; I think it gives it a very "fall" look!
