More Than Just Colors!

No matter how you stack them, these new In Colors are gorgeous! They evoke memories of chewing sour green apple gum, make me want to taste a starfruit, and what is there not to love about raspberries...especially when it sounds like ice cream? Then those beautiful primrose petals cheering up the landscape and the deep blue of the midnight sky...sigh...! I am so in love! I can't wait to play with them all! Stampin’ Up! has announced the list of retiring sets. It is quite large, so you might want to take a minute and mark up a catalog… and make your wish list! Open House Happiness

My Open Houses are some of my favorite events! They are a lot of work to put together but I am always filled with anticipation of seeing my guests and sharing exciting new products and ideas. Here is a picture of me waiting for the fun to begin! Everyone enjoyed the displays, make and takes, and the homemade cookies! Thank you to all of you who were able to attend - you made all the work worthwhile and fulfilled my happy anticipation!

Love Is Never Late!

I wanted to post this yesterday to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day...however I got caught up in doing some online continuing education courses that I had to have done by the 20th. If I were more organized, I would have scheduled this post beforehand...but...are you ready for it (another excuse)? LOL! I was busy getting ready for my Open House! This is a little decoration that I made for our front door for Valentine's Day. Wreaths and decor items can be pricey, so I am going to try to do better at making my own. Our new Designer Rosette Bigz XL Die will be helpful with keeping that commitment!

Of course I plan to do more than just decorate my door with this fantastic die! One of the most exciting features of this die is the ability to ceate rosettes of any size up to 10" in diameter. All you have to do is cut the papter to the desired width before folding and assembling the pieces. Plus, you have two decorateive edges to choose from: a scallop edge and a pinking edge! And...as if that were not enough...you can use it to put pleated designer paper on your cards!

So, Happy Belated Valentine's Day! I hope you had a wonderful day celebrating with those you love!

I just love the paper lollies! This die is perfect for making them all different sizes and it sure beats doing all that scoring yourself! It makes doing bigger projects a snap. I will be posting a cute project that I made to hang on my front door for Valentine's Day in the future so be sure to check back for that!

Dresden Designs How To Video

This die is pretty cool! I am not much of a sewer and definitely not a quilter - but I don't mind small projects - and this makes the perfect small project for table centerpieces and end tables. However, this die is not just limited to fabric - it is designed to work with paper as well! Paper center pieces mean that you can change your decor regularly and inexpensively! Fun! Fun! Fun!
