May your holiday celebrations be merry and bright, filled with delight, warmed by the love of family and friends, making wonderful memories of which there is no end. Thank you for sharing your love of all things stamping with me. I cherish the memories we have made together at workshops, classes, open houses, and whenever we have been able to be together! I hope we have many more stamping recesses to share in the upcoming year! Happy stamping always,

Stampin' Scrub Unavailable For Extended Period

STAMPIN' SCRUB UNAVAILABLE FOR EXTENDED PERIOD

Our Stampin' Scrub manufacturer has notified us they are unable to obtain raw material for the Stampin' Scrub. We've been told to expect an extended delay in availability of this item as the manufacturer locates new materials. We will resolve this as quickly as we can, but we expect this process to take several months.
This outage has particularly affected thousands of our newest recruits who receive this item as part of their Starter Kit. We are working on a separate communication to all new recruits who had a Stampin' Scrub on backorder. Because of the delayed availability of the Stampin' Scrub, it will be removed from the Starter Kit, and new recruits will be allowed to place a special order for any $24.95 stamp set (excluding hostess sets) at no charge (including shipping). We will also include suggestions of how to clean their stamps in the interim so their Starter Kit stamps can be cleaned using other methods.

Several customer, workshop, and demonstrator orders are also affected by this issue. We have secured a small amount of inventory from our European warehouse and are shipping them to Riverton. If you or a customer currently have a Stampin' Scrub on backorder, the order will be filled once we receive the supply from Europe.
This item has been disabled as of noon (MT) Friday, December 3, and we will not be filling backorders for this item after this date. Once the item is available again, we will turn the item on and make it available for ordering.
It is always difficult when unexpected outages occur and we understand this impacts our demonstrators individually in a number of ways. Please know we are working just as quickly and carefully as we can to get this resolved for you and your customers. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we will post more information once we hear from the manufacturer and can provide an update.

Holiday Shipping

We recommend you place your holiday orders by Wednesday, December 15, 2010, by 7:00 PM via phone or 11:50 PM via OEX (all times MT) to receive your orders before Christmas.  Delivery times will vary depending on where you live; if your personal experience indicates that it takes longer for packages to reach you, you will want to allow a little extra time for shipping during the holidays.

All orders we receive by December 15, 2010, will be picked, packaged, and delivered to our courier in plenty of time to arrive by December 24, 2010.  But as you know, we cannot control delivery times; holiday mail volumes are high, and our delivery services encourage customers to ship as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Happy Thanksgiving!

God, family, and friends are the fabric of our lives
Threads great and small, bold and bright, soft, subdued
Silver and gold, shining, adding brightness
Textured rough and smooth, old and new
Tightly woven into a beautiful tapestry
Brought together because of prayer
Bound with God’s great mercy, great grace,
And most of all, his great love
He’s made our lives a wonder to behold
A treasure beyond measure
You and me

I wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful for you everyday. I know I haven't posted much since June...and if you see me on a regular basis...you know we had a family crisis. We are working on a "new normal" and I hope to get back to blogging regularly soon! Abundant blessings to all.

Crimper Featured

Crimper101618
Price$19.95
This crimper makes it easy to add dimension and texture to any project you’re stamping. Just hold the crimper in one hand, feed the end of the paper into the rollers, and turn the key. It takes paper up to 6-1/2" wide—enough for the largest card! It can crimp On Board chipboard, too.

■ Metal and plastic construction
■ Comfort-molded handle and turnkey
■ Requires very little hand pressure

This oldie but goody is a must have! Sometimes it is easy to forget about these old standby's when there are so many new crafting tools coming out on the market! This handy little tool was used on stamped ice cream to make it look like it was wavy just like a real soft serve ice cream! To check it out - click on the title to this post!

Saturday Sketch

Here is an easy sketch created in My Digital Studio to get you stamping this weekend. Have a great one!

Sweet Scoops Friend

I love this card! It's a little hard to see in the photo...but the ice cream shimmers! We used Smooch to make it shimmer! Next week I will show you how we used the wheel to get Dear Friend. Sweet Friend as the sentiment. The color combo is Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Real Red, and Soft Suede. We made this card in my Sweet Scoops class this month.

Sweet Scoops Celebration

Isn't this just a brilliant idea! I got this idea from a swap at the regional in April. I used the Island Oasis Designer Series Background Paper and Scallop Edge Punch to create the awning for the ice cream shop look. The color combo is taken from the background paper; So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive. This cone reminds me of the YUMMY pineapple ice cream cone I had in Oahu at the Dole Plantation. Yum! We made this card at my Sweet Scoops class this month.

Sweet Scoops Birthday

I am so sad to see Bordering Blue retire! It was one of my favorite colors to put with Not Quite Navy! It gives a nice clean masculine feel to this card made with the Sweet Scoops stamp set from the new summer mini catalog. I chose the scalloped Bitty Button to go with the scallops...but if it seems too feminine to you, the  plain round Bitty Button will work well too. We made this card in my Sweet Scoops class this month. The other colors used are So Saffron, More Mustard, and Soft Suede.

Vintage Vogue Bird

I get together with a group of friends once a month to stamp (except for a few months during the summer) and a month or so ago...this is one of the cards we made! We used the Vintage Vogue stamp set and the Extra Large Two-Step Bird Punch. It's nice making cards that somebody else designs once in awhile! LOL!

Here is the color combo for June in anticipation of our new core colors! This is very soft and pretty! If you don't have the Pink Piroutte you could substitute Pretty in Pink although it is a little brighter. Have fun playing with this color combo!

Is it hard for you to stamp when it is nice out? It is for me! I like to be out in my yard or on my bike! However, this card sketch can help you put together some quick cards if you have some special occasions coming up and you don't want to spend a lot of time designing! A Little Birthday Cheer

What a great birthday card for a teenage boy! The creator, Jill Coleman used the stamp set, A Little Birthday Cheer for the sentiment on this card featuring the new Travel Journal Designer Series Paper which is layered over Night of Navy card stock that has been textured using the new Square Lattice Impressions Folder from the summer mini catalog. I received this card in the SUDSOL swap.
