This is a cute card with some interesting details. It has a neat texture provided by the Big Shot and Texturz Plates Kit #4. I don't have that one...but I may have to get it! I like how it was punched on one side for the ribbon and sentiment...I think I may give that a try on a card...but I may go a step further and punch on both sides for the ribbon. The color combo was derived from the Designer Series Background paper, Tall Tales. The colors are; Soft Suede, So Saffron, Brilliant Blue, and Old Olive. This card was stamped by fellow demo Amy Jorden.

This was another make & take from my open house. Circle Circus is a very universal set. It is great for focal points on a card such as this; or, it comes in handy for borders or backgrounds! I love the variety of the circle styles. This layout is very simple...and makes a very cheerful card. The color combo is Bermuda Bay with Basic Black. Lots of punches used with this layout! The Scallop Circle, Scallop Edge, and 2 Circle punches! I also used the SU! Perfect Details Texturz Plate. I reallly like this design paired with the FYI stamp set and plan to make up a few! I'll use several of our new In Colors with this design! It will be pretty in Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry!

This pretty card was stamped by Jan Waters. She used the new Hostess Set, Wings of Friendship for her swap. The main color, Rich Razzleberry...lives up to its name. It is a deep, rich color. I love it! Small details really make this card. The scallop oval punch in the Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper as a frame for the sentiment is a very nice touch. She also highlighted different areas of the image with the Crushed Curry marker which realy pulls it together with the designer series paper. Nice job, Jan!
This beautiful card was stamped by fellow demo Kathy Chono-Herring. I love the cheerful color combo of Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, and Old Olive. The Filigree Brad on this card acts as an hinge...and the top half of the card swings up to show the greeting. Very nice! You can see how it works at my open house on Saturday!
I love the look of this technique! I haven't used the technique much since SU! discontinued the rainbow inkpads. This card was stamped by fellow demo Tamra Davis. She used a stipple brush rather than a brayer to layer the colors over the masked sun (or full moon...however you see it! lol!) She used the greeting from the new hostess set, Holiday Best. We don't carry that acrylic piece...but it would look very nice framed with the Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware. The new In Colors Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, and Dusty Durango were used.
This card was stamped by fellow demo Kristine McGee. She used the Wedding Sweet Set with the new In Colors Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. The Designer Series Paper is Thoroughly Modern. She embossed the image using Irridescent Ice embossing powder...which is really pretty. I like how she anchored the Soft Suede Polka Dot grosgrain ribbon with the Styled Silver Brad. It is a cute idea that I shall have to remember!
